About me
NOTICE: epoch appears to be a pathetic cretin with infant-like knowlege of basic internet gadgetry. If you recieve any slander in relation to me from him, please don't hesitate to contact me below. To epoch: you're getting yourself into an aluminothermic reaction here, boy. Play with the fire and it'll burn like sweet tears of acid. It'll blow your brains out and smash your ego like the windrop stack. If you haven't got my info by now then you're not in my league.
Greetings, stranger! My name is Sebastian, I live in Australia and I'm a geek... and a coder! I've been into computers for over half my life, and in this time I have learnt alot about software applications, operating systems and hardware. I spend alot of free time helping those who ask for it, particularly on IRC, because that's what I like to do...
I can pull computers apart and put them together, add hardware components and install drivers. I can, without using antivirus software, determine with reasonable reliability whether a system has been compromised and take appropriate actions to minimalise damage caused by malware. I may paint a picture of a Windows advocate, but this is not entirely true. Though I use Windows alot, my favourite OS is OpenBSD and I've also had experience with Debian.
I have experience with common software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. I don't like to mess around with GIMP, but I can. I created all the graphics used here in GIMP, with the exception of the "Valid CSS/XHTML" buttons down in the bottom left hand side of this window, and that sexy picture of me that you can see up the top of the page. I wrote all the HTML and CSS myself, without using any WYSIWYG editors. I've also learnt programming languages (of course) such as C and C++, JavaScript/ECMAScript, Ruby, C#/VB .NET and a few that probably aren't worth mentioning yet.
You may have arrived here from an external link, or from a search engine, in which case you're probably wondering what this websites' purpose is. If you noticed the link on a copy of my resumé, the odds are you know what to expect.
As proof of my experience, I'll be releasing various personal projects here in open source, unless I decide to change my mind... Hey, one must earn his or her indulgences somehow! This site itself is the first of the projects I have been working on. I intend to, over the course of the lifetime of this website, learn and demonstrate skills in Java, TCL and possibly Perl.
I hope your upcoming experience browsing my website will be as thrilling as it has been for me to design it. If you have any questions, ideas, comments, broken links or bug reports, or even hate mail, feel free to browse over to the Contact Page, or drop by #scripters on irc.icq.com.
| Ofloo.net | The network, that technically belongs to a friend of mine. TCL, IRC, and Shells are his speciality. Much appreciation to Ofloo for hosting this site. |
| TPU.org | Teen Programmers United. A self-explanitory group of teenaged programmers that I used to be a part of, currently awaiting resurrection. As pointed out by an old school-friend, CorranSec, I was visibly upset when this community announced that it was dead. |
| TFProg.com | Another programming-centric community that I am a part of. I encourage anyone and everyone (except spammers) to participate! |
| NetGeeks.org | Yet another coding forum, hosted by forgotten for the use of Coding on IrCQNet. |
| IRCNews.co.uk | The last site that uses Joomla!, or any CMS for that matter, that I'll ever link to. I sometimes release IRC-related scripts here, and participate in general discussion if I feel the need. X-Ception of IrCQNet is the head honcho here, and MaTriX will steal your briefs upon initiation. |
| t0x.in | ReBBie's IRC related site... ... I think. |
| LibraIRC.net | Libra's IrCQ-related website. It has a pic of me on it D:. |
| CyborgZone.co.cc | A site that aims to provide IRC users with Eggdrops (Bots) that will protect their channels, or provide other services. If you need eggdrops, this is a good place to go. |
| OccasionWise.com | This is a sublime advert. Smoke... Smoke... |
| Deadpan110.com | Not related to OccasionWise, I swear. This guy has helped me with XHTML/CSS stuff in the past. Is this CMS? |
| TheHoneyMonster.net | I like honey... but not as much as this guy! Nah well idk but that's Fremen. He's another nerdy coder I hang out on IrCQ with ... and just because he's all the way down here doesn't mean he isn't totally cool, either! |
| Elite-Hackers.com | A classic site that illustrates the typical stereotype that the media defines as a hacker. Every newbish, wannabe hacker can learn something from this site... I even hacked the website and stole some of the code... shhh, don't tell schiz0id, he might pwn me! |
